Sleeve boxes are usually two pieces: a printed outer sleeve and an inner tray. The sleeve runs on SBS paperboard (16–24 pt) for retail or wraps rigid board for a premium drawer-style. The inner tray can be folding carton or rigid chipboard with a fitment to cradle the product. A snug-but-smooth slide tolerance is engineered into the dieline so the drawer glides without falling out; both pieces take CMYK, foil, and soft-touch lamination.
