What is e-cigarette liquid packaging?
E-cigarette liquid packaging is a custom-printed carton, sleeve, or rigid box engineered around a nicotine-containing e-liquid bottle — typically 30, 60, 100, or 120 mL in glass or plastic (chubby-gorilla) format. It has to hold the bottle snug and leak-safe, prove it is sealed and unopened at retail, carry the FDA-mandated nicotine warning statement, and, in most markets, be certified child-resistant. PMTA and required warnings
Under the FDA Center for Tobacco Products framework, e-liquid products sold in the US generally require Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) authorization. Nicotine-containing e-liquids must carry the mandated warning statement — "WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical." — with specific size, color, and placement rules on both the primary label and the outer package.
