Custom vape packaging built for US vape brands running multi-format lines — devices, pods, cartridges, disposables, e-liquid, and starter kits — that need one cohesive, compliant, tech-grade system across the range. We print short runs from 100 units in sturdy SBS, rigid chipboard, and mylar-lined pouches — with fitted inserts, certified child-resistant options tested to ASTM D3475 / CPSC 16 CFR 1700.20, tamper-evident closures, and layouts sized around the FDA nicotine warning, PMTA-context copy, age-restriction notices, and batch coding.

Built for US vape brands running multi-format lines across devices, pod systems, cartridges, disposables, e-liquid, and starter kits for adult vape retail and DTC.

About Vape Packaging

What is vape packaging?

Vape packaging is the coordinated set of cartons, rigid boxes, labels, and pouches engineered around the vape product line a brand actually sells: a device, the pods or cartridges it takes, the e-liquid that refills it, maybe a disposable line, a starter kit, and PR bundles. Every one of those is a different package with its own structure and compliance load. This hub covers the whole vape line — for a specific format cross to electronic cigarette boxes, e-cigarette liquid packaging, vape gift boxes, or CBD cartridge packaging for cannabis crossover.

PMTA and required warnings

Under the FDA Center for Tobacco Products framework, most e-cigarette, vape hardware, and e-liquid products sold in the US require Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) authorization to be legally marketed. Nicotine-containing products must carry the mandated warning statement — "WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical." — with specific size, color, and placement rules on both the primary label and the outer package. Our designers reserve dedicated panel space across every SKU in your line for the nicotine warning, PMTA-related copy, age-restriction notices, nicotine strength where applicable, and batch and lot codes. Packaging must not target minors. We do not provide legal advice — customer is responsible for confirming PMTA status, warning compliance, and state-specific requirements.

Child-resistance and tamper-evidence

Nicotine e-liquid containers fall under the Child Nicotine Poisoning Prevention Act of 2015 and require certified child-resistant packaging tested to ASTM D3475 and CPSC 16 CFR 1700.20. We build CR tuck locks, push-and-tear inserts, and slider constructions engineered into the dieline for e-liquid and any other CR-required SKU in your line. Tamper-evident tuck seals or shrink bands are standard on request across all formats.

A format for every product

  • Device kit boxes — rigid chipboard-wrapped, molded-insert flagship kits (vape gift boxes).
  • E-liquid cartons — CR tuck-end cartons sized to 30/60/100/120 mL bottles (e-liquid packaging).
  • Cartridge and pod packs — single- and multi-cartridge cartons with fitted cradles.
  • Disposable vape cartons — single- and multi-pack cartons for all-in-one disposables.
  • Single-device cartons — tuck-ends and sleeves for individual hardware SKUs (electronic cigarette boxes).

Consistency and compliance as you scale

A vape system stays on-brand and on-spec when the same Pantone colors, stocks, and finishes carry across every SKU — kit, carton, e-liquid box, cartridge pack — and when every layout reserves the same warning-panel geometry, so a new SKU can be dropped into the range without re-designing the compliance load from scratch. Cannabis crossover: brands running both hemp-derived CBD carts and nicotine vape hardware benefit from a shared visual system across the custom CBD boxes line and the vape line, with different compliance panels on each SKU category.

Why US brands choose us for vape packaging

Custom Box Printing manufactures vape packaging from our US production facility, with free standard shipping anywhere in the contiguous United States and a 7–10 business day turnaround. We've printed vape packaging for solo founders launching their first product line, growing direct-to-consumer brands placing 5,000-unit runs, and established retail brands with 50,000+ unit production schedules — and we treat all three the same: low MOQs (100-unit runs), free design support, no setup or die-plate charges, and a 3D digital mockup before anything goes to press.

Every vape packaging order includes free in-house dieline and artwork support — our US-based designers will polish your existing files, or build a custom dieline from scratch to fit your exact product dimensions. We send you a 3D mockup to confirm look and proportions before production. For color-critical work, request a physical sample free — let’s talk about a customized sample so you can confirm the look before a full run.

Materials, print, and finish options

A vape brand rarely sells one thing, so the packaging has to be a system — one Pantone palette, one finish language, one compliance layout — applied across many very different formats. We build cartons on 16pt to 24pt SBS with soft-touch or matte lamination and foil for the tech-grade shelf feel, rigid chipboard for premium kits and gift bundles, and mylar-lined constructions for e-liquid pods and disposable multi-packs. The insert engineering varies by format: die-cut paperboard cradles for cartridges and cartons, molded EVA foam for full device kits. Certified child-resistant constructions to ASTM D3475 / CPSC 16 CFR 1700.20 are standard where fill or state requires; tamper-evident tuck seals and shrink bands come on request.

Available finishes include:

  • Lamination: Gloss, matte, soft-touch, or velvet finish for a premium hand-feel.
  • Foil stamping: Gold, silver, copper, or custom foil colors for high-visibility brand marks.
  • Embossing & debossing: Tactile raised or recessed surface effects on logo or key artwork.
  • Spot UV: Selective gloss coating that creates contrast against matte areas.
  • Eco-friendly options: Recycled kraft, FSC-certified stocks, water-based inks, recyclable rigid constructions.
  • Compliance: FDA food-safe inks; certified child-resistant constructions for CBD/cannabis where required.

If you're not sure which combination will work best for your vape packaging, mention it in your quote request — our team will recommend the right material, print spec, and finish based on your product, budget, and brand positioning.
