Stocks, weights, and finishes
Board weight is a load calculation: 14pt SBS covers small cosmetics and supplement boxes; 18pt is the retail default across most consumer categories; 24pt suits larger footprints and heavier product. Kraft is the same weight scale in unbleached brown. Any of these takes matte, gloss, soft-touch, or textured lamination, plus foil stamping, embossing, spot UV, and window die-cuts.
Print and color
We print full-color CMYK with optional Pantone spot matching at no extra cost. On SBS, prints render bright and color-accurate; on kraft, expect a warmer, muted tone (which is often what the brand wants). White ink prints cleanly on kraft for high-contrast retail work.

Materials, print, and finish options
Paper boxes are folding cartons built from paperboard — the sweet spot between flimsy paper and heavy rigid chipboard. We print most retail paper boxes on 14pt to 24pt SBS (bright white for vibrant CMYK) or on kraft (unbleached, natural brown) depending on the brand voice. Board weight follows product weight and box size: 14pt for small cosmetic and supplement cartons, 18pt as the everyday retail standard, and 24pt for larger boxes or heavier product. All finishes — matte, gloss, soft-touch, foil, spot UV, embossing — are available on either stock.
